Dot Rose

What's In Bloom?

May 20, 2003

Along with the early varieties (Blanc Double de Coubert and Zepherine Drouhin), it's time for the species roses to bloom. Rosa glauca, R. rugosa, and R. eglanteria are all in bloom. Better catch them while you can, these bloom once and they're done for the year. Rain most of the day today with more expected over the next four or five days.
