We pray that she will grow up to be sensible and mild.
But if genetics play a part she's certain to be wild.

Oh we know that your babe will be the cutest ever seen.
She'll twist you round her finger and you'll treat her like a queen.
And if that isn't bad enough just wait ‘till she's a teen.

We know the little Beglin really will be a delight.
Except for when she wakes you in the middle of the night.

By then the joys of parenting will only have begun.

The grandparents are overjoyed, you threw them for a loop.
